NEW Wolves head coach Steve Price has arrived in the UK, the club have confirmed.

The Australian arrived yesterday ahead of the players’ return to pre-season training on Monday.

However, as Price explained, he has little time to settle in as his schedule is a hectic one.

“I had a really good flight, quick stop over in Dubai and then straight home to Stockton Heath,” he told Wolves’ official website.

“It was my first time at the training facilities today, meeting the office staff and hooking up with the coaching staff, its exciting times.

“I’m heading straight in to a board meeting first, followed by lunch with my coaching staff.

“We will organise our flow of the week for next week and then a catch up with the performance team, getting all our systems in place.”

The club’s non-international players will find a very different coaching set up to greet them on Monday, with Price being joined by assistant coach Andrew Henderson and head of rugby operations Kylie Leuluai.

“Andrew has been coaching in the Championship league down at the London Broncos, they had a terrific season last season,” Price said.

“I am looking forward to working with Briersy and also Kylie Leuluai who I brought in from Leeds.

“I had a long association and friendship with Kylie back at Balmain Tigers when we were young kids.

“I feel that we have got a great coaching team, I am really looking forward to officially kicking training off.”
