Moore 111 Winnington Park 3rd 0
SEVENTEEN tries were scored at Moss Lane as Moore continued their red-hot streak of point-scoring.
Winnington Park’s thirds were powerless to resist the dominance of the home side, who racked up the biggest winning margin of this season’s North West Intermediate League Division Four South season so far.
Joe Pidgeon and Matt Griffiths returned to the fold after periods away and both marked the occasion with a try a piece.
Sam Craven led the way in terms of point-scoring for Moore, crossing for two tries and kicking 13 conversions for a 36-point personal haul.
Jack Harvey and Max Holland joined Craven in crossing twice, while nine other players added their names to the scoresheet by scoring a try each.
Adam Wadsworth, who came into the game off the back of two consecutive hat-tricks, had to settle for one try while Liam Taylor, Tom Banks, Nathan Coole-Healey and David Dixon also crossed.
Mikey Woollacott, Max Ferguson, Joe Long and Mike Barr completed the scoring for Moore, who welcome Sandbach’s thirds to Moss Lane on Saturday, kick off 2.15pm.
