Moore 68 Marple 2nd 5
A DEVASTATING attacking display saw Moore consolidate their position at the North West Intermediate League Division Four South summit.
They ran in 10 tries against a helpless Marple second team, with Adam Wadsworth marking his return from an injury lay-off in fine style by running in a hat-trick.
Mike Barr crossed the whitewash twice, while full-back Sam Craven scored 23 of Moore’s points as he racked up a try and nine conversions.
This all came after Max Holland had opened the scoring for Moore less than a minute into the game.
Dan Carney, Nathan Taylor and Brad Atherton also got on the scoresheet for the hosts at Moss Lane.
Moore, who lead Lymm’s fourths by one point in the league table, travel to Linley’s seconds on Saturday.
