A WELL-DRILLED Heaton Moor outfit proved to be too much for Eagle to handle on Saturday as they fell short of making it back-to-back victories.
After the hosts took the lead with a penalty, Eagle briefly led when a strong scrum resulted in Dave Heathwood powering over for an unconverted score.
However, Heaton Moore managed to take their opportunities when they came to take the game beyond Eagle.
The visitors did have the last laugh, however, when Ashley Losh scored his third try in two games.
Eagle remain bottom of the South Lancs/Cheshire Division Two table ahead of Saturday’s trip to Port Sunlight, kick off 2.15pm.
