AN inexperienced Lymm seconds fell to defeat at the hands of Sedgeley Park on Saturday.
A poor start saw the hosts drop 22-0 behind in the first half as Sedgeley Park utilised their size advantage in the pack.
Lymm managed to wrestle some momentum and tries from Jack Pilkington and Toby Phillips brought the score back to 22-12 at the break.
Sedgeley forced their way over from close range to extend their lead early in the second half.
Mike Gough then touched down following a tap penalty as Lymm threw bodies forward to save the game, but the visitors held out and crossed again on the final hooter to seal the win.
