DESPITE falling just short of ultimate success, Tiger Flight Basketball Club can reflect upon an excellent season.

The team, who are based at Ball Hall in Latchford, achieved their goal of winning the Premier Division of their age group and also succeeded in reaching the play-off finals.

That pitted them against another talented side in Tornadoes White and in a well-contested match, the Warrington team were just one point behind after the first half.

The Tigers netted multiple “three-pointers” and produced some excellent play, but succumbed to a narrow four-point defeat.

Next season, the team have set themselves a target of going all the way and picking up the winners’ trophy.
