SUNDAY will see bowlers battle it out to win the second Peter Lawrenson Memorial Trophy.
The action gets underway at 9.30am at Bewsey Park and spectators are welcome to come and watch the action.
Steve Gilfedder is the defending champion after edging out wife Sandra in last year’s final.
Meanwhile, Sunday also sees St Oswalds Bowling Club host their AGM.

Alford Hall Men’s bowling section will hold their AGM and registration meeting at their club on Wednesday, January 31, at 7.30pm. Prizes from the 2017 season will also be presented.
On Friday, February 2, Warrington and North Cheshire Bowls Association will host their prize presentation combined with a race night at Monks Sports Club.
The first race starts at 8pm and entry costs £3 on the night. All 2017 winners are asked to attend to collect prizes.
St Albans men’s Monday and Friday teams hold their AGM on Tuesday, February 6, at the Three Pigeons Pub at 7.30pm.
The following day, Warrington Ladies Evening League host their registration evening at the Grange Club, 7.30pm start.
