WOOLSTON Rovers will be celebrating their club’s past at their season launch dinner.

They will be inducting 13 of the club’s former greats into their Hall of Fame, the first group of players to have such an honour.

The dinner takes place on Saturday, February 3, at Warrington’s Masonic Hall and tickets are priced at £30 per person, or £250 for a table of 10 people.

“Woolston Rovers have had some of the very best amateur players to have laced a boot pull on the green and gold,” club chairman Liam Horrigan said.

“In February, we open the books to induct a starting 13 into the club Hall of Fame.

“Tables have sold well and we have limited availability, so please get in touch before it’s too late.”

To reserve your place, contact Liam Horrigan on liam.horrigan@yahoo.co.uk or Dave Whalley on 07809 647014.

The dress code is evening wear/lounge suits and the evening will include a three-course meal, house photographer and a guest speaker.
