WARRINGTON Triathlon Club are celebrating a double.
On three occasions in the previous four years either the men’s or women’s team prize was achieved at the Boundary Breeze Triathlon but this time both awards were won.
Dan Harbridge, fourth, led the way for the men, while Alison Sutcliffe, fifth woman and 63rd overall, helped to lay a winning platform in a Manchester Triathlon Club event at Boundary Water Park, Holmes Chapel.
Jonathan Britton, 20th, and Craig McNeil, 28th, completed the men’s counters, while clubmates Paul Harbridge, 30th, Ian Parker, 31st, and Will Austin, 65th, followed them home.
Lucy Stuart, 12th, and Christine McMullen, 21st, joined Sutcliffe in the winning women’s team.
The event is the proxy North West Championships between the region’s triathlon clubs.
