GREAT Sankey High School pupil Chloe Garner is celebrating a brilliant performance against Europe’s best taekwondo prospects.
The 12-year-old represented England at the European International Taekwondo Championships in Liverpool and came away with a bronze medal in the under 14s age group.
Although this was her first international selection, Chloe has won 32 medals since the age of 10 in various competitions, including gold in the National Scottish Open.
A demanding schedule means Chloe trains for six hours per week and is also required to attend England squad training in Oxford twice per month.
Chloe will still be eligible for the under 14s category for next year’s European Championships in Estonia and is seeking sponsorship in order to compete.
