A WARRINGTON mixed martial arts club has had recent success.

Daniel Bonner, 26, and Damien Firth, 29, from the Supremacy Fitness Centre and Fight Academy in Bewsey stopped their opponents in professional Thai kickboxing fights on the Cage Kings show held in Newton.

Bonner won in the second round by technical knockout, while Firth triumphed by TKO in the first 20 seconds of his contest.

Matthew Bonner won an amateur title when the 26-year-old was joined by clubmate Josh McGann, 25, on the mixed martial arts show GPUK in Stoke.

While McGann won his debut fight by doctor’s stoppage in the first round, Matthew Bonner’s victory was virtue of TKO in the first round and sealed for him the GPUK welterweight championship.
