WARRINGTON Athletics Club competitors enjoyed success in a Sale Harriers indoor meeting at Sportcity in Manchester on Sunday.
Rebecca Hardy won her under 17s 60m race in a personal best 8.46secs, while Charlotte Stokes was fifth in her under 15s race in 8.98secs after a bad start. Nicole Metcalfe was sixth over the same distance at the same age group in 9.65secs.
In the 300metres, Thomas Baines triumphed in his under 17s race in a new best of 36.12secs.
Charlotte Stokes, 44.99secs, also went faster than she has before as she finished third in her race.
Elizabeth Wright was first over the line in her under 17s 600m race in 1minute 39.94secs, while Rebecca Hardwick was second in her under 15s race over the same distance in 1min 56.33secs. Emily Jackson made her indoor debut, finishing fifth in 1min 53.87secs.
In the long jump Rebecca Hardy was 13th with a personal best leap of 4.25m.
