TALENTED athlete Harriet Knowles-Jones had double cause for celebration at the weekend.
She gained honours from her club and then proved to be an easy winner of the British Athletics Cross Challenge in Cardiff on Sunday after being called up at short notice.
The Lymm runner, under 20s European Cross Country Championships silver medallist in December, was jointly awarded the female athlete of the year with Carys McAulay.She then continued her good form for the England under 20s team in South Wales, winning the latest round of the British Athletics Cross Challenge by 92 seconds in 18mins 42secs.
