TWO Warrington boxers are preparing to compete in the national finals of the England Boxing Junior Development Championships this weekend.
Amber Leyland and Bayleigh Smith have fought their way through rounds to feature at the Magna Centre in Rotherham on Saturday.
Leyland, aged 16, from Padgate represents Phoenix Fire Boxing Club and will be competing against Taylor Smith from Heart of Portsmouth Boxing Club in her class B 63kg final.
She is also working as a physical education apprentice at Sankey Valley St James CE Primary School in Warrington.
Smith, aged 15, from Grappenhall, attends Lymm High School and the Warrington Amateur Boxing Club pugilist will go toe-to-toe with Guildford City's Daunte Taylor in the class A under 70kg title decider.
