Festival winners Doris Cargill and Danny Watson
A NEW partnership triumphed in the Padgate Tennis and Bowls Club Mixed Pairs Festival.
A display of top-class bowling from Doris Cargill and Danny Watson overhauled Maureen Reardon and Ray Goodhand 21-7 in the final.
They were equally impressive in the last four, with a 21-7 victory over Barbara Garrett and John Green while in their two early rounds they also kept their opponents to single figures.
In the other semi final, Reardon and Goodhand beat Paula Gammon and Bruce Garner 21-13.
