GYMNASTS from Warrington achieved success in national finals at the weekend.
Six Warrington Gymnastics Club competitors represented the North West team in the British National Grade Finals in Stoke, tackling the country’s best at their respective levels.
Team gold was secured in grade two, with Georgia Hanna and Sian Foster playing their part. Foster placed fourth individually and first on floor, while Hanna was fifth individually, second on beam and second in range and conditioning.
Rachel Heron was third as an individual in grade three after finishing fourth on vault, sixth on beam and fourth on floor.
Sophia Rodriquez Mendoza helped secure third place for her team in grade four. She was ninth overall, fourth on floor and second in range and conditioning.
Mia Galloway, 17th individually, and Olivia Buckley, 26th, impressed as they helped the north west finish sixth in grade one.
