Molly Wormald
MOLLY Wormald has won her first gold award.
She was the only Warrington Athletics Club runner to compete in the Sale Harriers Over the Bales Races and in the under nines age group.
Meanwhile, Warrington Athletics Club’s under 20 runner Matt Wigelsworth represented the north west in the British Colleges Cross Country Championships at Bath University.
Wigelsworth was in the leading group for the first two of the three-lap race but was unable to stay with them on the final circuit and eventually finished seventh, leading his team to third place.
