WARRINGTON Athletics Club's Harriet Knowles-Jones was an outstanding winner in the English Cross Country Championships in London on Saturday.
Her 49-seconds winning margin in the under 17s women's race at Parliament Hill Fields, Hampstead Heath, was the best of the day.
Clubmate Jasmin Dobson finished in 118th place.
Sam Evans' excellent run in the under 13s boys' race left him just one and three seconds outside the bronze and silver medals.
Jack Stubbings was 13th in the under 15s boys' event, while Sam Rostron was 73rd and Luke Gamble 219th.
