AN UNKNOWN quantity awaits Warrington Town in an important week.

Shaun Reid’s men bid to maintain a climb up the ladder from mid-table at Radcliffe Borough on Saturday, kick off 3pm, before heading to Leek Town in the quarter finals of the Doodson Sport Cup next Wednesday, kick off 7.45pm.

The Yellows, who beat New Mills 3-0 in Evo-Stik First Division North last night, Wednesday, are to tackle a struggling Radcliffe side with new manager Danny Johnson and eight new signings in place since last week.

Leek, currently fourth in First Division South and unbeaten since New Year’s Day, stand in the way of Town joining Saturday’s victors Farsley and Premier Division sides Ilkeston and Ramsbottom in the Doodson Sport Cup last four.
