WARRINGTON Town's FA Cup first round goal hero Craig Robinson and centre forward Ben Wharton are set to miss the second round tie at Gateshead after a disastrous trip to Kendal.

Robinson, whose seventh minute header in a man of the match performance knocked Exeter City out of the cup, and Wharton both received straight reds in today's 3-0 loss at Kendal in Evo-stik First Division North.

They face automatic three match bans which come into force in a fortnight, with Town's second round trip to Gateshead to come on December 7.

Robinson saw red after letting a linesman know his views on an incident in the first half, then Wharton joined him midway through the second half after his sliding tackle was deemed dangerous.

After the defeat, Town remain fourth from bottom in the table.
