Grappenhall scoop veterans league title
GRAPPENHALL Sports have won the Cheshire Veterans' League Premier Division title.
David Coyne’s side finished 12 points clear of nearest rivals Tatton Arms in an eight-strong league.
A 4-2 success at Tatton in midweek confirmed Sports ended the campaign unbeaten, with 12 wins and two draws.
Their biggest win this year was 8-1 against Moore United, while third-placed Alder were the last team to take a point off them in their penultimate game of the campaign.
