Skelmersdale United 4 Warrington Town 0.
WARRINGTON Town crashed back down to earth with a bump as they were humbled by lowly Skelmersdale in their heaviest defeat of the season.
Benito Lowe tapped home after Yellows goalkeeper Karl Wills had saved Connor Almond’s shot for the opener and that was how it stayed until the interval.
However, the Yellows collapsed after the break after Wills spilled a corner into his own net.
Paul Woolcott’s goal then effectively put the game beyond Town before Tom Ince’s late strike put the icing on the cake for the hosts.
Stuart Mellish’s side are back in action on Tuesday when they host league leaders Buxton, kick off 7.45pm.
