Croft 5 Burtonwood 1

CROFT’S pursuit of the Warrington and District League Premier Division title continued after they overturned an interval deficit on Saturday.

Robert Hunt equalised, then the hosts’ goalkeeper Gareth Chadwick saved a spot kick.

They took the lead through Will Beeley and added a third when Rhys Carroll-Marsh grabbed his first for the club.

Beeley netted his second goal shortly afterwards before completing his hat-trick with the goal of the game.

Grange res 1 Windmill 1

TWO dropped points has probably cost Grange Sports reserves a chance of finishing first in Division Four.

Eight points adrift of The Village, having played a game more, leaves them waiting for the leaders to slip up.

However they remain in the mix for promotion.

Grange dominated Saturday’s game, and took the lead through Kevin Ferrigan only to concede a poor goal late on.
