Rovers currently sit fifth in National Conference League Division Three, two points behind their visitors with four games to play.

Victory would be their fifth league success in a row and head coach John Fieldhouse is in no doubt as to the magnitude of Saturday’s clash.

“This is a massive game for both sides and we know that we will need to be at our best if we are to get the right result,” he said.

“We have been on a good run of so we are in a really good place confidence wise.

“We just need to transfer that on to the field against a good side this week and if we can play to our full capabilities then I am sure we can get the two points.

“We have more strength in depth now than we had earlier in the campaign so hopefully that will stand us in good stead for these crucial games coming up.”

Meanwhile, Woolston Rovers A return to Victoria Park looking to claim their second cup triumph in as many weeks on Saturday.

Having wrapped up the Warrington Alliance Cup last week, Rovers A face Clock Face Miners A in the NWML Shield Final, kick off 11am.

“Clock Face are a team who, like us, have had some great wins to get through to the Final and they will be full of confidence.

“I know the togetherness and mental toughness in our group makes us really strong and it would be great if we could add another cup to our trophy cabinet.”

CROSFIELDS return to action on Saturday still harbouring hopes of a play-off place in National Conference League Division Two.
