Heysham Atoms 36 Rylands Sharks 22
RYLANDS were unable to overcome a well-organised Heysham outfit.
The hosts opened the scoring after 20 minutes through Jack Edmondson with further tries for Jake Harrison and Callum Hall giving Atoms a 14-0 half-time lead.
They added two more straight after before Sharks raced to three tries in 10 minutes through Luke Gillooly, Jack Lewis and Dave Walker with Lewis adding two conversions.
Atoms again extended their lead before a well-taken Pete Price score was converted by Lewis.
