THINGS are hotting up in the Cheshire Football League.
Greenalls closed in on the Division One title after Pilkington slipped up in their last game of the season, as they lost 3-0 to Rylands.
The race for third and fourth is still on, with Eagle Sports, who lost 1-0 at Gamesley, leading fourth placed Middlewich Town by only one point.
The reserve division title race is just as close as the first division, with leaders Eagle Sports, seeing their lead cut to one point after drawing 3-3 against Denton, after second placed Pilkington closed the gap with a 2-1 win against bottom of the table Daten.
