MUM of five Gael Tavernier, who last year had two leg operations, maintained her fine record at the British Masters Championships with two gold medals.
The Warrington Rowing Club star finished first in a C category double scull before helping a composite crew win in an eight.
She also scooped silver medals in a B category single and double scull to complete a remarkable weekend.
“Her success illustrates just how determined she is,” said club chairman Richard Sinnott.
Meanwhile the club’s crews returned from the Durham regatta with five wins.
They were: Holly McMullen (WJ14 single scull); Tom Nixon and Alistair Saxby (MJ14 double scull); Beth Laidlaw and Hannah Lester (WJ15 double sculls); Paul Lawton, SCott Ozsanlav-Harris, Alistair Saxby, Tom Glover and cox Tom Nixon (MJ14 coxed quad scull); Holly McMullen, Claudia Wright, Susie Clarke, Daisy Dell and cox Sophie McQuillian (WJ15 coxed quad scull).
