CROSFIELDS returned to winning ways in National Conference Division Two after a mid-table battle with East Leeds.
Tries from Monks, two, Johnson, two, Noone and Patterson were more than enough to keep a resolute Leeds side at bay.
The teams suffered from injuries and sin-binnings, with both sides playing with 10 men at one stage.
Crosfields will entertain Oldham St Annes at Hood Lane on Saturday.

CROSFIELDS A and Halton Simms Cross shared the spoils after a thrilling match in North West Counties Division Six.
A good performance came from Richard Smith on his debut, while the evergreen Mike Redmond controlled his side welll.
