ANDY Little’s interception try gave Cobras a half-time lead with Lewis Perrin, Jack Williams and Jake Spedding scoring in the last quarter for a well-deserved win.

LATCHFORD can hold their heads high after losing just 4-8 in the second stanza following a substandard first period. Player of the match and top tackler went to Matthew Grimshaw.

CROSFIELDS were unlucky. Player of the match went to Taylor Boyne, top tackler was Nathan Holland and coach’s award went to Kieran Cripps.

WOOLSTON were found wanting against a big and well-organised Chorley outfit. Player of the match Matty Toft came off the bench to great effect, putting in some big hits and running the ball in strongly. Callum Moore earned the coach’s award.

TRY-SCORING Lloyd Halpin collected the player of the match honour, while the coach’s award went to Danny Robb with Daniel James gaining the top tackler award. Sam Martin scored a great try.

A BATTLE of wills between two determined teams with Rylands coming out on top. Tries came from player of the match Danny Walker, Fynn Stanley, James Lawrie and Kieran Evans, with the latter two adding goals.

COBRAS got off to a great start in their first game since Christmas. Player of the match was Lewis Snow, while the coach’s player choice was Matthew Archer.

WOOLSTON worked hard in defence, with Moore earning top tackler in a tight match. Kieran Jones was awarded Woolston’s player of the match due to his continuing hard work and consistency.

AN unlucky start to the new year saw Rylands lose against a strong Wigan St Pats side. Tries were scored by player of the match Oliver Livett, two, Liam Brinksman, Jordan Brown and Ellis Slater-Mairs. Best in defence was Riley Jordan and most improved player was Drew Morley.
