CROSFIELDS/RYLANDS have made it through to the Cheshire League Cup Final for the second season in succession after defeating last year’s winners Middlewich at Gorsey Lane.
With the first half devoid of chances, the second half started with both teams pushing forward.
The breakthrough finally came in the 78th minute, Tasker escaping his marker before lifting the ball over the Middlewich keeper.
Five minutes later Jay Waldron finished of a fine move by firing low into the bottom right corner to secure a final place against current champions Woodley FC.
