WARRINGTON Wolves will travel to The Jungle on Saturday looking to maintain the intensity and strength they showed against Harlequins last week, when they produced a devastating attacking and defensive display.

It was a performance that could paint Wolves as the ‘team to beat’ in Super League XV, but Smith feels they have got a long way to go to earn that title.

“You have to earn that right, we’ve only had one game against a side who were understrength,” he said.

“We put in a solid performance but we’re realistic about it.

“We’ve got the players and if we all pull in the right direction we’ll be tough to beat but this game will be a real tester for our defence.”

Smith feels that the Tiger's strength lies in their attack, which will put Wolves' defensive ability to the test.

He said: "They are a good attacking team and they put in a pretty solid defensive performance to keep Leeds to ten points but they've got more attacking flair than others.

"They have good experienced players and others who can create opportunities for the players around them.

"If we can reproduce the defensive performance from last week I'll be pleased."
