WARRINGTON women’s hockey team were defeated 3-0 by table toppers Chester at the weekend.

Carrie Wright's excellent defending kept the game goalless at half time.

An excellent opportunity was lost when Steph Yeadon narrowly missed a flick.

Warrington let things slip in the second half which allowed Chester to score three scrappy goals.

The first team are at home to Macclesfield on Saturday, with the new second team travelling to Alderley Edge.
