FORMER Huddersfield boss Jon Sharp has expressed his disappointment after former Wolves hooker Mark Gleeson was unveiled as a Halifax player on Thursday night.
Sharp is currently a coaching advisor at Featherstone Rovers, who had been set to sign Gleeson after the 26-year-old left Wolves on Wednesday.
But Gleeson pulled out of the deal to sign for Halifax, leaving Sharp suggesting the reaction of the player had been 'extremely disappointing' and claiming Featherstone had been 'led down the garden path'.
Gleeson will play for National League One leaders Halifax until the end of the season to put himself in the shop window as he bids to sort out his playing future for 2009.
