FORMER Wolves player Mark Gleeson has signed for Halifax after pulling out of a deal to join Featherstone.
Gleeson left Wolves yesterday, Wednesday, after being unable to come to an agreement over the terms offered to him for next season.
The hooker had been out of contract with Wolves at the end of 2008 and decided to move now to put himself in the shop window.
Gleeson had been set to move to Featherstone but had not put pen to paper with the mid-table National League One side and pulled out of the deal.
Instead he has signed for title challengers Halifax for the rest of the season and was unveiled at The Shay at half time of their clash with Leigh tonight, Thursday.
