MARK Gleeson has left Warrington Wolves to join National League One side Featherstone Rovers.
The 26-year-old hooker, who came through Wolves’ youth system and had scored 15 tries in 153 appearances since his debut in 2000, was out of contract at the end of the year and had not been able to agree a new deal.
Gleeson had not figured in Wolves’ last three games and decided to join Featherstone for the rest of the campaign to put himself in the shop window for next season.
A Wolves spokesman said: “The club would like to thank Mark for his many years of service.”
