TWO of the three Warrington Athletics Club youngsters competing at the latest Manchester Indoor Open Series event produced their best efforts of the season to date.
Ellie Barker was in great form in the under 17s age group, winning her 300m race in a time of 43.10secs – her season’s best so far.
Another new mark for the campaign came courtesy of Abigail Adelani in the shot putt – she threw 8.24m to place second in the under 15s girls standings.
Tallie Sze also had a busy day on the track and in the field, finishing third in her 60m race in 8.24secs before competing in the long jump, where she finished second overall in the under 15s girls and 12th in Pool B following a jump of 4.88m.
