DID you know?
How much of this trivia around Warrington Wolves' previous Challenge Cup Final appearances are you aware of?
1 Up on the roof
Way back at The Wire's first Challenge Cup Final appearance in 1901 against Batley at Headingley, Leeds, the crowd was so great that some spectators took to viewing the game perched on top of the main stand!
2 Drop in, drop out
Captain Alex Murphy kicked the last two-point drop goal in professional rugby history in England, with his second in the 1974 final against Featherstone Rovers.
3 Brothers in arms
In 2009 versus Huddersfield Giants, Michael Monaghan and Vinnie Anderson both scored tries. Their brothers also scored in finals, Joel Monaghan in 2012, and Louis Anderson in 2010, both against Leeds Rhinos.

4 The in crowd
The Warrington versus Halifax 1954 replay broke all records. Odsal, Bradford, was drowned in a sea of supporters as 102,569 descended on it. This is still the British rugby league attendance record.
5 On this day
Tony Burke, who played prop-forward in the 1990 final, was born on August 25, the same day as this year's cup final takes place.
6 Initial success
The last four times Warrington have won the Challenge Cup, the winning captain has had the same initials A.M. - them being Alex Murphy in 1974, and Adrian Morley in 2009, 2010 and 2012.
7 Substitute
Tyrone McCarthy, in the 58th minute against Leeds Rhinos in 2012, is the only Warrington substitute to score a try in the cup final.
8 Bath time
In 1950 the Warrington captain Harry Bath became the first overseas player to lift the Challenge Cup. It was even better as local rivals Widnes had just been nilled!
9 In a rush
Full-back Richie Mathers scored the quickest try in a final, after just 69 seconds against Huddersfield Giants in 2009.
