Bury Broncos A 22 Rylands Sharks 42

WITH only 13 players Rylands pulled off a victory to retain a top-three position.

The home side built up a 16-point advantage in the opening quarter of the North West Men’s League Division Five clash but Rylands’ opening try on 30 minutes from prop Sam Driscoll set the ball rolling.

Further tries from centre Dan Banner and forward Adam Thompson plus two goals from half-back Craig Lawton brought the scores level by the interval.

Broncos went ahead again before Rylands racked up 26 unanswered points with tries from coach and hooker Liam Lawton, brother Craig, Chris Bringau and Thompson.

Best for Rylands were Lawton with a tally of 18 points, Carl Lloyd, Sam Driscoll, Adam Thompson.
