A BEWSEY pair came out on top in the Warrington and District Seniors Bowls Association Bibby Cup.
The last 16 played down to a winner at Tetley Walker on Friday after a series of qualifying matches were contested the previous week.
The Bewsey A team pairing of Tony McCarron and John Reynolds took the title, defeating Eagle A's Terry Long and Fred Overy in the league's first final of the new campaign.
