AUSTRALIAN Ben Clissold took five wickets but Stretton could only secure a draw in their Meller Braggins Cricket League clash at home to Northwich on Saturday.
Clissold grabbed 5 for 54 and Steve Critchley took 4 for 60 as Northwich were dismissed for 183 but Stretton batted for a draw and finished on 115 for 5.
Stretton's second team also drew at Northwich's seconds, who made 170 in their innings despite 3 for 27 from paceman Dave Smyth.
Wickets then fell to prevent Stretton going for victory and they saw out the draw, with Ric Lyons top scoring with 24.
Stretton's first and second teams take on their Cheadle Hulme Ladybridge counterparts on Saturday, while the Sunday team face Winnington Park.
