APPLETON clinched a three-wicket victory against Winnington Park in the Mid-Cheshire Under 18s Cricket League East.
Figures of 4 for 6 from R Stewart and 3 for 10 from J Stokes helped to dismiss Winnington Park for 65 and T Lomas made 34 as Appleton cruised home.
Stretton defeated Weaverham by three wickets after 2 for 8 from Toby Mullins restricted the hosts to 93 for 6.
Rylands lost by 59 runs against Runcorn after making only 65 for 9 in reply to the visitors' total of 124 for 7.
