Wolves swoop for Pomeroy

WARRINGTON Wolves have signed former Catalans Dragons centre Ben Pomeroy.
The 33-year-old Australian, who has NRL experience with Penrith Panthers and Cronulla Sharks, joins The Wire with immediate effect until the end of the season.
He will help to ease the club’s issues in the centres, following long-term injuries sustained by Rhys Evans, Toby King, Harvey Livett and Matty Blythe.
“He’s a good solid Rugby League player who will certainly help our cause,” said Wolves’ head of coaching and rugby Tony Smith.
