Old Bedians 3rd 0 Eagle 2nd 72
IN a game in which both sides had depleted teams, Eagle’s seconds ran out convincing winners at Old Bedians.
Eagle travelled to south Manchester with just 14 players but faced a home side who had only 13, but the game was played regardless.
The visitors made use of their advantage with a series of well-worked tries, with Jay Jackson starring at scrum-half.
They are back in action on Saturday when they host Congleton’s thirds to Thornton Road, while the first team are away to Oldershaw.
Both games kick off at 3pm.
