THE revolving door that is the Catalans Dragons team has continued to turn in the off-season as Wolves face something of the unknown on Saturday.

Once again, the French side have lost several key players but Laurent Frayssinous has been active in his recruitment drive to replace them.

While the likes of Dave Taylor, Todd Carney and Glenn Stewart have left, incomings include Sam Moa, Luke Burgess and Greg Bird.

Those three additions catch the eye as impressive additions to a forward pack that already includes the likes of Remi Casty, Justin Horo and Jason Baitieri.

While there may be a touch of unfamiliarity up front, The Wire will know plenty about Catalans’ capabilities in the halves.

Richie Myler enjoyed five successful seasons at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, while Luke Walsh is a familiar face from battles with St Helens in the last three years.

Former Wigan centre Iain Thornley is a solid addition to the outside backs and will compete with former New Zealand international and World Cup winner Krisnan Inu and the vastly experienced Vince Duport for a spot in the team.

With Morgan Escare now at Wigan, Frayssinous has the dependable Tony Gigot and new signing Brayden Wiliame to choose between at full-back, while Englishman Jodie Broughton and the talented Fouad Yaha provide blistering pace on the wings.

Catalans are always a force to be reckoned with on home soil, but Frayssinous now begins his latest quest to sort out their away form and turn them into title contenders.

POSSIBLE TEAM: Tony Gigot; Jodie Broughton, Iain Thornley, Krisnan Inu, Fouad Yaha; Luke Walsh, Richie Myler; Remi Casty, Paul Aiton, Sam Moa, Justin Horo, Benjamin Garcia, Greg Bird. Subs: Luke Burgess, Julien Bousquet, Mikael Simon, Jason Baitieri.

ONE TO WATCH - Fouad Yaha: The 20-year-old became the youngest player ever to play for Catalans in Super League when he made his debut as an 18-year-old in 2015. At 6ft 1in tall and weighing nearly 15 stone, Wolves will have to be wary of his power as well as his raw pace.
