LATCHFORD Albion’s Ryan Hickman was part of a successful England Lionhearts touring squad that won two games in Canada last week.
Hickman, who is the captain at Victoria Park Stadium, started both games for a side made up of the best talent from the North West Men’s League.
He started both tour matches at prop as the Lionhearts romped to successive victories by the same score, 38-6.
They saw off Ontario State on Thursday before beating Canada Wolverines on Saturday at Lamport Stadium.
The Toronto venue will be home to pioneering League One side Toronto Wolfpack next season.
Back at home, Hickman’s Albion side had their game against North West Men’s League Division One leaders Orrell St James postponed.
