WARRINGTON Rowing Club had winners in six events as they hosted the prestigious Ball Cup for the second time in four years.
The regatta is one of the oldest events on the junior calendar and is aimed at new rowing clubs and schools.
More than 150 rowers from across the north of England took part on the River Mersey near Kingsway Bridge.
And, although Stoke's Trentham Rowing Club won the cup, six crews from Warrington emerged victorious in their races.
Bryony Ackroyd, Liv Clubley, Jenni Pearson and Lottie Cooper won the girls' junior 15 coxed quad race with help from cox Josh Goswell before going on to win the junior 18 coxed quad event.
Cooper and Pearson also combined to clinch victory in the junior 18 double sculls event.
Phil Lyons won the boys' junior 16 single sculls before joining forces with Mat Spence to win the double sculls, while Tom Pearson and Luke Balcerak were first across the line in the junior 18 pairs race.
