GRAPPENHALL defeated Moorfield by eight wickets in Mid-Cheshire Under 18s Cricket League North.
Chris France was the mainstay of Grappenhall's innings with 73 not out in a total of 113 for 2 as his team chased 112 for 6 from the allocated 20 overs.
Runcorn defeated Rylands by five wickets with A Peters' 42 helping the Gorsey Lane men to 96 for 4 and then he chipped in with 2 for 18 in attack but Runcorn reached 97 for 5 in the 17th over.
In the east section, Stretton's 122 for 5 from 20 overs beat Appleton's 89 for 9.
