RYLANDS Sharks stand off Chris Forster has been crowned the BARLA Youth Player of the Year.
The son of former Wolves winger Mark has had an outstanding season for both Rylands Sharks and Great Britain.
With Rylands Sharks under 18s he won the Premier Division title and took the man of the match award in the Lancashire Cup Final as Rylands trounced Blackbrook 34-0.
For Great Britain, he captained the side in warm-up games against league opposition before playing against the Australian Schoolboys at Whitehaven, where he picked up another man of the match award with an outstanding display.
Chris then toured Serbia with Great Britain, picking up more accolades with a mesmerising display against the Serbia under 21s national side.
