WOLVES have completed the signing of Manly half back Michael Monaghan on a four-year deal.
The 27-year-old Australian will join Warrington from 2008 and is expected to partner Lee Briers in the halves.
Monaghan, who counts on the overseas quota, has secured his release from the last year of his contract at Manly, where he had mainly been playing at hooker to allow former Wolves target Matt Orford to take the scrum half role.
Hull, who are looking for a replacement for the departed Paul Cooke, were also a serious contender for his signature along with several NRL clubs but Monaghan opted to join Wolves.
Monaghan, who has previously played for Canberra, has been one of the key players in the Manly side that currently tops the NRL and only just missed out on selection for New South Wales' State of Origin team this week.
