TOM Murray missed the cut at the BMW International Open today on the European Tour in Germany.

The Lymm golfer carded 148 at Golfclub Munchen Eichenried, Munich, to finish four over after the Friday’s second round.

Murray shot a 75 on Thursday, including a quadruple bogey on the par four 16th, while birdying the third, 11th and 18th.

The 16th hole proved troublesome for the 25-year-old again on Friday, taking seven strokes this time in a one-over-par round of 73.

The former Lymm Golf Club junior captain enjoyed his best European Tour finish two weeks ago when he finished tied seventh at the Nordea Masters.

He then finished tied 79th at the Lyoness Open last week.
